it was only about $10,000 in crop loss; there is no upgrades, you need to buy better things which is only a issue in the early to mid game

ahhh..'kay-'kay,,so once you do get a cash flow going things smooth out to a kind of routine ..not bad ...

Basically grow, harvest and sell wheat/Canola(Rapeseed)/barley till you can afford to get sowers for potatoes/sugar beets and the harvesters to get them out; then keep up the cycle of grinding to get new stuff till you get bored or have everything

Well been grinding till I can get a Grimme Tectron 415(potato) Haulm Topper/Harvester and a Grimme Maxtron 620(Sugar Beet) Haulm Topper/Harvester

At the current rate it will take a few days to get the 1 million to get them both

not much when my biogas finishes production; until then it will take time just waiting for the silage that is piled up to be put in

sorry I wasn't here yesterday ..had to go to the surgeon office...what was to be a short visit turned out to be very much longer ..had to wait 3hrs to see her..then was told no cancer but oddly I have oil cysts in my arm pit...she can do nothing right now ..too small....lol ..is as is ....

do you get top dollar selling the silage to the plant?? or is it a flat rate every time...

the rate is not set(if you flood the market by selling too much it will cause large price drops)

That's why my storage is so full; I really don't want to crash the price so I only sell around half of a storage pit at any time(roughly 500k value)

My fields are just a bit much for production capacity so either I will need to risk collapsing the price via clearing it out soon(my storage spaces are all full currently(they fill as quickly as I try to empty) or I might get some crop losses due to lack of storage

not much of selling; decided to "cheat" by turning off crop decaying till I can get my current stockpiles completely sold

Sadly it was either that or loose 20 hectares of crops today

not really; though i am unloading everything onto the market now so the silos and other storage will be empty so i can unload the new crops into them

It just takes about 2 days to clear it all out

sadly i kinda am at critical mass on that farm(i own everything in the game on that save) so i might make a new save on one of the other two official maps(there are hundreds of fan made ones but i only use ones by the actual company)

so pick which of the 2 maps i will play on next:
Sosnovka(post USSR Fall eastern Europe map)

Bjornholm(Scandinavian map, not much needed explanation on how it looks)

both are weaker starts than the Westbridge Hills map that have been playing on(smaller starting fields and far more scattered selling locations)
