it takes ~5-10 min with cooked lamb; i carry it in a preserving bin on my Quetzal and fly into the redwoods(where thylas are spawned) and pick one up with its feet(i then drop it into a metal/stone taming pen and shoot at it from above(think the raptor pen from jurassic park)

from there once tamed it gets moved to a breeding facility

Shit I lost my quetzal in the redwoods in a ambush by a thyla(they hide in the branches and jump onto either you or your mount); caught it though(was a male(level 35))

Now I'll need another platform saddle and a new quetzal; well either that or a brontosaurus and a platform saddle for it(which while less maneuverable(can't access the mountainous north) than the quetzal is a better mobile base to stage hunts from)

Nice ,,that means the taming will begin ,,,,,how many eggs can a female lay in a single batch after being breed??? are young from tamed ones easier to also tame????
aww,,,will it be hard to get another Quetzal...does seem to be your best option...

1 per 18 hours or so in-game time; bred dinosaurs just require to be claimed and thus named

kinda hard due to that they don't land much and tend to orbit around the three obelisks at decent altitude; i'll need to borrow a argentavis or find my Tapejara when back at main base to fly on

well i could tame some Onyc(bat) and use it to swarm the nearest quetzal but seeing as the nearest cave is surrounded by spawning locations for carnotaurus it might be better to just borrow a argy and bypass the spelunking trip

ummm....yeah....man it is hard to replace them ,,when you think you'll have another one,,??? the benefits do seem to out weigh the risks...have you though out your capturing plan ??? do flying ones take longer to tame and ride??

Probably tonight, though it will most likely be lower leveled than what i'd like it to be; i tranq them so assuming there aren't any hostile dinosaurs below that try to eat it it will be a fairly easy tame

taming time is based on level and food type(the more they like it the faster it will be); not flying/ground based

so bat taming or quetzal first

hummm ..the bats ..I'm guessing those little guys will distract the big guy enough so you can get a good clean shot at the best darting spot on him/her....

the bats are about half the size of a quetzal; so they aren't small

Quetzal can't fit into the caves and bats don't leave them unless they are tamed

So no; also a onyc is far more threatening to a quetzal than a quetzal to a bat(the bat shreds knight style plate armor off of players in seconds; quetzals can't do anything by comparison)

No; but given that there isn't a saddle for them it is kinda a good thing that they can't be ridden

they can carry RPG's and other heavy ammo with little burden; secure messages are done via radio or discord server

not really; helped someone to tame a arthropluera(giant centipede) and that was all we got from the caves(well other than one of the boss artifacts(they summon the bosses when put into one of the three ark pillars)

they are good support/combat animals for caving

so i hit a roadblock in the game; i need to upgrade my weapons for the bosses but to do so i need over 10k units of obsidian(it's used in polymer construction which is used on fabricated weapon production/upgrades)

Been playing chrono clock and after 1 route im loving it also some micro mechanics are hilarious and i love how they did the backlog since you can "travel back in time" and play for a certain line again if you want to see the whole scene again

also completed free friends 1 & 2 and i gotta say 2 is pretty good and 1 is ok altrough the bad ending is both are pretty messed up like 1 step away from school days messed up

When your air superiority fighter is shot down by a bomb heavy biplane flown by a noob(me) even after you in your superior plane had an altitude and first strike advantage you should just stfu instead of accusing the guy who shot you down a "cheater" or as happend to this idiot will get laughed out of chat by people from both teams including those that were out of the match and spectating the dogfight #ScrubDoneFuckedUpNow

both of the above; Giganotosaurus spawn areas are found at the same altitude as the obsidian spawns near where the base is

So basically it is a kill everything to then get obsidian situation

its a impossible task to tame anything when you can't make saddles or anything without the needed materials; so no guard dinos

no clue as to how i'll do it

can you team up with some one?? one guard while the other gathers the rocks??...what about a decoy for the huge dino like a very large kill of some kind ,,will that buy you enough time to get some of the obsidian ??
