Banner size??

So, it JUST occurred to me (far later than it should have) that when I chose the banner size for this site, I optimized it for my own resolution. Which I'm assuming, means that for everyone else who has smaller resolution than me, that the banner sticks out too far on the side(s). Is this a correct assumption?? Basically, I'm wondering if I should change it and make it more narrow so that it doesn't look silly for everyone. Please let me know what you think.

I honestly didn't notice until you pointed it out. xD Only fix it if you want to. I have no issue with it extended beyond the margin.

Haha well if no one has noticed or cared I can leave it alone. I'll just wait and see if anyone else has an opinion about it.

Whenever I happen to make a new banner I'll make it a smaller size, but if no one cares then I think I will leave it alone until then. Thanks for the feedback.
